From 2014 to 2022, my work has been primarily abstract, driven by the freedom and spontaneity that abstraction offers. In these pieces, I embrace the pure enjoyment of paint, without the constraints of representation. The absence of predetermined meaning allows me to explore and experiment fully. Yet, figuration has always been a returning force—especially in my sketchbooks—where I find myself revisiting recognizable forms and shapes. This balance between the freedom of abstraction and the grounding pull of figuration is central to my practice, reflecting an ongoing dialogue between structure and spontaneity.
